We know the people and the pictures, James Dean walking in the rain in Times Square, hunched over, Marilyn Monroe on set, Audrey Hepburn taking a break between shots, jazz greats Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong, and thousands more all through the camera lens of Dennis Stock.

Dennis Stock (1928-2010), was a Woodstock Photographer as well as an instructor at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck. He has captured some of the most iconic images of the 20th Century. His work is celebrated in 'Beyond Iconic:Photographer Dennis Stock', a film by Ulster County filmmaker Hanna Sawka.

You will be able to see the film at The Downing Film Center in Newburgh on Sunday, March 29 at 1 pm with a Q&A with the director afterwards. Tickets are $10, members $9. There will also be live music by the composers for the film. It's a perfect thing to do on a Sunday afternoon with family and friends.
