While we wait for the Super Bowl, Sundays seem a little boring. However this Sunday that was not the case. Fox aired Grease: Live! and it was a hit. A remake of the original 1978 Paramount film Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John had everyone buzzing.

What makes Grease: Live! even better? Aaron Tveit aka Danny Zuko is a hometown Hudson Valley boy.  Aaron graduated from Middletown High School in 2001 and we couldn't be prouder of him. He did a fantastic job of embodying Danny Zuko and I had no idea he could sing like that. High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens did a terrific job as Betty Rizzo. Hudgens father passed away the night before the live show of stage 4 cancer, how she went on to perform is beyond me, but she did a beautiful job. Julianne Hough played Sandy Olsen. Of course we know Julianne from Dancing With The Stars, but you might have forgotten she was a country singer too.

Overall, I was super impressed. I'm a huge fan of the original Grease and Grease: Live had me smiling and singing throughout the night. Here are a few clips of my favorite performances of the night:
