Did You Catch this Hudson Valley Reference in the Manifest Premiere?
Fall television premier season has officially kicked off this week.
I don't know about you, but this is my favorite time of year. There are a ton of shows coming back that we've missed all summer long, like This Is Us (which came back Tuesday, September 25th) Chicago PD (Wednesday, September 26th) and Last Man Standing (Friday, September 28th).
Not only are our favorites coming back, but of course they're are the new kids on the block. Magnum P.I. (CBS), New Amsterdam (NBC) and The Rookie (ABC) are all part of the new fall tv schedule.
Manifest is also a new show, which premiered on Monday night on NBC. Quick synopsis of the show: a group of folks on a flight from Montego to New York hits some serious turbulence on the way and when they land they realize they have been missing for 5 years. Those who were on the plane have to figure out how to live their lives after so much has changed.
I had to tune in and I wasn't disappointed. Neither were the 9.2 million people who also watched, according to Variety.
Not only should you watch because it seems like it's going to be a great show, but the first episode there is a pretty cool Hudson Valley reference.
SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!
After the plane experiences some serious turbulence they get ready to descend at JFK. However when the pilot radio's in the air traffic controller seems a little confused. So the plane is then diverted to Stewart International Airport.
They mention the Newburgh airport a few times, which I thought was pretty cool.
