So it seems Kenny Chesney is holding true to his word. So far he has been laying low for in the beginning of 2017. At the end of last year Kenny told the world that he was going to take a break. A break from the road and the spotlight. After everything Kenny Chesney accomplished in 2016 he deserves to take a break in 2017. Last year Kenny achieved his 29th number one song. He released his 17th studio album. He headlined the Taste of Country Music Festival.  And won the CMA''s biggest award plus put up with the Wolf's "Big Head."The big head alone earned him a vacation.

Kenny wrapped up 2016 by releasing his latest album "Cosmic Hallelujah" in late October which was originally going to arrive in stores in July. He started November by appearing on the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards to join the likes of Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift to accept The CMA Pinnacle Award. And then he did what he said he would do he vanished in true Kenny style.

For all we know right now he could be hanging with Tim McGraw. He could be boating in some sun kissed island paradise. Or he maybe tucked up in a studio writing and creating great country music. One thing is for sure no matter what Kenny is doing I am gonna bet he is having fun doing it. He is just that kind of guy.

He has scheduled a few shows for later this year and that maybe our first opportunity to check in on what Kenny's been up to in 2017. In the meantime let's look back at some fun we had with Kenny last summer right before Taste of Country Music Festival 2016.
