Derek Jeter is retiring?

Say it ain't so! According to Facebook, Derek Jeter has announced that the 2014 season will be his last. After Mariano Rivera's exit from the game last year that left Derek as the final member of the Core 4.

Derek has played 19 seasons, is a 5 time World Champion, and is the Yankee's All-Time career leader in hits (3,316). He has also created the Turn 2 Foundation  in 1996 to help children and teenagers avoid drug and alcohol addiction, and to reward those who show high academic achievement.
