Department of Motor Vehicle in Wappingers Falls is Temporarily Closed

One thing most of us never look forward to doing is taking a trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Often times a trip to the DMV can take you hours to complete, depending on what you are going in for. The last thing we want to happen to you is for you to show up for an appointment, on time, and find out they are closed.

DMV in Wappingers Falls is Closed Today

If you have made plans to visit the Dutchess County Department of Motor Vehicles at 29 Marshall Rd, Wappingers Falls, NY today May 8th, make note that according to the Dutchess Government Facebook page, the location is closed all day. The post states,

"PLEASE NOTE the Wappinger DMV is closed today, May 8th due to a power outage. Appointments will be honored at any Dutchess County DMV office."

Wappingers Falls Power Outage

According to Central Hudson, the power outage that's affecting the DMV location is a small outage and they currently have crews on site attempting to fix the situation. The DMV location in Wappingers Falls is expected to reopen during normal business hours tomorrow Tuesday, May 9th. If that changes we will update this article with all relevant information.
