Day Three of Five Cities in Five Days: Gardiner
We landed in Ulster County on Wednesday.
We made it to the half way point for our 5 cities in 5 days tour across the Hudson Valley and Wednesday we got to spend the morning at Cafe Mio on Route 44/55 in Gardiner. Mike is the owner of this great cafe that really has some of the best food in the Valley.
He made both Jess and I a huge plate of banana bacon french toast that I don' think I can express in words how good it was. Take a look at it....
As we tour the Valley, we have come across some great people including today, we got to see our friend Nick from Pine Bush who joined us on the air to talk about how he makes homemade wine with a wine press from the 1930's.
We also had a gentleman stop in with one of the coolest trucks we have seen in a while. A 1953 Ford F-100. Take a look...
This tour has been so much fun and we can't wait to see everyone tomorrow at Desing's Bakery in uptown Kingston with more chances to sign up to win V.I.P. 3 day passes to the Taste of Country Music Festival. We start at 6 a.m.
