Anyway the BBC has a new series called "Colour: The Spectrum of Science". One of the segements from the show is going viral.

If you watch the video below your brain will get tricked into seeing a black and white picture in full blown color. I tried it and trust me it works.

First they show the photo with a bunch of bright colors added in. And you have to stare at a blue dot for about 30 seconds. Then it switches to black and white and if you keep staring at the center of it, it looks like it's in color.

I guess it works like this, staring at the bright colors messes with the light receptors in your eyes, and makes one of them stop working temporarily. And it only works because of the specific colors they used.
