Country Music Shows up in 2016 Grammy Nominations

It's always nice to get a text message from Paty Quyn with Sam Hunt news. I think everyone pretty much knows how I feel about him. If you don't, I want to marry him. It's as simple as that.

Anyhow, this morning the 2016 Grammy Nominations were announced by Alicia Keys on CBS This Morning. Well add to this list when more information comes out, but the big categories such as Best New Artist, Song of The Year and Album of the Year include some of our favorites here at The Wolf.

Sam Hunt is nominated for Best New Artist in the general category, not just for country music and I think he has a good chance at winning. He'll be up against Tori Kelly, Megan Trainor, James Bay and Courtney Bennett. Little Big Town and "Girl Crush"  and Chris Stapleton's album "The Traveler" is up for Album of The Year. Those are some pretty big categories to be apart of.

That's two nominations for Chris, Sam and Little Big Town! Who do you think will go home with a Grammy? And who else do you want to see nominated?  The 2016 Grammy Awards are on CBS February 15th at 8pm.
