Comic Fun Comes to Gold’s Gym This Weekend

So when I was growing up one of my favorite cartoon characters was Witch Hazel from Bugs Bunny. I am sure there were cooler comic characters back then like there are today . Maybe Bat Girl or Wonder Woman but for some reason I always saw myself as Witch Hazel.

Anyway, here nor there this Saturday and Sunday great comic and sci-fi heroes will land in the Hudson Valley at Hudson Valley Comic Con at Gold's Gym in Poughkeepsie. Grab your friends and head to this two day event that celebrates Sci-fi, comics, fantasy and more.

Growing up I was a fan of comic books. I read Archie, Casper, Wendy and an occasional super hero comic. I always caught Star Trek on TV and I never missed an episode of Lost in Space. This weekend  you can enjoy meeting Ernie Hudson from Ghost Busters and Gigi Edgley from Farscape plus sit in on panels and check out the American Sci-Tech exhibit. Comic and super hero fun for two big days right here in the Hudson Valley.
