Last month the folks at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) announced that they were bringing a great comedian to town for one show only! Comedian John Mulaney is scheduled to take the legendary stage at UPAC located at 601 Broadway, Kingston, NY on Thursday, November 2nd and stand-up comedy fans are scrambling to find tickets.

Almost SOLD-OUT

When UPAC announced the show they said that tickets would go on sale for the general public back on Friday, September 29th through Ticketmaster. They also did an artist presale special a few days earlier and if you didn't take advantage of getting your tickets early you might be out of luck as tickets went extremely fast. UPAC didn't say if the show is sold out yet but after going to UPAC's Ticketmaster page it appears that only a few tickets are left and they come with a hefty price tag.

I searched Ticketmaster for two tickets to the show and at the time, there were only 5 pairs left and each ticket started at $298.75. A bit too steep for me but if you are a fan of the two-time Emmy winner and former "Saturday Night Live" writer you can see if they are still available here. Mulaney will also be doing a show in Troy, New York on Saturday, November 4th but that show is officially sold out!

No Phones Allowed

If you are lucky enough to already have tickets to either show remember that you won't be able to use your phone during the shows. All of Mulaney’s comedy shows are a phone-free experience that prohibits the use of phones, smartwatches, and accessories. These devices will be kept in Yondr pouches that attendees will keep on them at all times and can be opened in designated places within the venues.
