Having a pet is a job in itself, but when it comes to who you choose to trust their health and well-being to, it can be a tough decision to make. I hope that sharing my experience with you can make that decision a little easier.

I was lucky enough to get my puppy Smalls a little less than a year ago and I knew that once I picked him up I would need to find someone that I could trust with his health and well being not just now but for his whole life.

To be honest, I did my research before I picked him up and knew that without question I was going to bring him to see Dr. Alex and the team at Earth Angels Veterinary Hospital in Wappingers Falls. I had the privilege of doing some work with them over the years and knew when it was time for me to get a new dog, we'd be patients of Dr. Alex.

Earth Angels makes all of our pet needs super convenient and easy. After getting my pup all his shots and such, Dr. Alex helped me get on a great program when it comes to flea and tick prevention. I had no idea that I had to have him protected year-round. The best part was that Dr. Alex gave me three or four different options for me to choose from to best fit what worked for us.

I also had no clue about heartworm and how dangerous it is for pets. Thankfully Dr. Alex explained all of it to me. She also explained to me how important doing bloodwork, urine and fecal testing is for his well-being. Doing tests like these helps on the prevention side of things and they also can give signs if something is wrong with your pet.

It's been about a year with Smalls and Earth Angels, and I have to say I never thought I would have this type of relationship with a veterinarian. Dr. Alex and the whole team at Earth Angels have made the whole "taking a pet to the vet" super easy for this hard to please radio guy.
