The holidays are quickly approaching. If you're looking to impress those in your bubble this year, why not pair Thanksgiving dinner with delicious hard ciders?

Think about all those mouth watering, savory side dishes. Don't you think a crisp, sweet cider to wash it down would make for a magical holiday experience? Come on, you know it sounds fantastic!

If that's up your alley, then head on down to see Paige at Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders in Fishkill. That's exactly what I did and she broke down the perfect ciders for your Thanksgiving meal.

Paige and I sipped on 3 very different ciders that would pair perfectly throughout your turkey day dinner.

For those wine lovers who want to try something different "Wolf at the Door" (LOVE the name) will satisfy your taste buds. This cider from Massachusetts cidery Artifact Cider Project has less alcohol than wine which makes it perfect for sipping throughout your busy day of eating. If you like a dry, tart and tangy cider, you should definitely bring Wolf at the Door to the table.

Apple Haze from our neighbors in Stowe, Vermont at Stowe Cider is what you think of when you think hard cider. It's made to taste like it was fresh off the cider press and you really can't miss that sweet apple taste. Paige says Stowe Cider goes perfectly with turkey and all the trimmings.

Are you a fan of holiday desserts? Who am I kidding? We all are. Paige introduced me to the most mouth watering addition to any dessert table. Ice Cider.  Essence Ice Cider from Eve's Cidery in the Finger Lakes is extremely flavorful. It gets its icy name from the process in which its fermented. After the apples are pressed, the juice is left in barrels outside to freeze. As soon as I took a sip, all I could imagine is pouring a little of this Ice Cider over vanilla ice cream on top of an apple pie.

Are you ready for Thanksgiving yet? I know I am.

For all your Thanksgiving Cider needs go say "hi!" to Paige at Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders in Fishkill at 18 Westage Drive in Fishkill. Don't forget they're open on Thanksgiving from 9 am until 2 pm!
