It is nice to know that even the Vice President of the United States takes time to play with his dog and actually talks to him like we all do to our dogs. During an interview with CBS, Champ, Vice Presidents Biden's German Shepard, sat quietly as his faithful human was interviewed about everything under the sun. The whole time waiting for the moment that the interview would end and he would get to go outside and play golf.

We all have things that we do with our dogs that are a routine, but let's face it that's why we think they understand us. We talk to them and they talk back. I have quite a few conversations daily with my little puffy princess. We have "biscuit outside" which for her means run to the door and wait for me to catch up with a milk bone in hand and then let her out to the yard. We also have the daily "Breakfast and Diner" questions that remind me of the new Beneful ads.

or the do you want to eat ad

Pearl and I also have a few. There is "go to your spot" which means go sit on the rug so you aren't begging in the kitchen. After dinner we have "do you want a peanut butter bone" which is her favorite bone with a dab of peanut butter in it as desert. And my favorite game "is the cat outside?" that one burns a lot of energy because we have to look out all the windows.

I do believe that my dog understands everything I say and I also believe that she tells me what she want to do as well. Her vocabulary may be limited to some barking accompanied by some running around the room but I always manage to figure out just what she wants. So yes I do believe like the VIce President that we can speak with our pets.
