If you are fan of the "Old Fashion Christmas" then this weekend at Huguenot Street in New Paltz has been planned just for you. There are seasonal events on both Friday evening and Saturday throughout the day that will have any Scrooge planing a happy holiday for sure.

On Friday, late afternoon the fun begins with a holiday photo op for you and your pet with the proceeds of you photo benefiting the Humane Society of Walden. There are tours, shopping, even a paper lantern parade all leading up to a 7pm tree lighting. Santa and Mrs Claus will even be hanging around for the festivities. They will also be available for free photos at Deyo Hall after the tree lighting around 7:15pm.

Saturday the Christmas fun lifts off at 9:30am and runs throughout the day. Enjoy carriage rides and more all against the back drop of historic Huguenot Street where the holidays have been celebrated for more then three centuries.
