Can You Help This Hudson Valley Dog Find a Family?
Hudson Valley, this senior dog needs your help.
On Monday a Facebook post started making the rounds about a 16 year old dog named Lady Bug. The Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County shared the post and put us in contact with the original poster, Rachel Garcia.
Rachel tells us that Lady Bug is a 16 year old mix breed. She is currently looking for a home as her owner has to move out of their home in a short amount of time. Lady Bug is the last one left from her siblings to find a new home.
In the original post it was stated that if Lady Bug wasn't adopted she would be put down.
Since Monday, March 11th, several families have stepped forward. However Rachel and Lady Bug's family want to make sure she finds the right home. Like it was stated before, Lady Bug is 16 years old. She's skinny and slow moving, so she is looking for a single level home.
Lady Bug is well behaved, quiet and trained. She also got along well with her doggy siblings.
For more information about Lady Bug and how you can rescue her contact Rachel at 845-332-9491 or through email at rmuscat28@gmail.com.
