Blake Shelton Will Host the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards

If you follow Blake Shelton on Twitter, you know that all weekend he was teasing that something big would be announced on Monday morning. He kept his word and made the announcement with Kathie Lee and Hoda this morning on the Today Show.

Yep, you guessed it, Blake will be hosting the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. According to US Weekly, Blake is looking forward to getting green goo poured on him. Come to think of it, he does look a little too excited in the video.

According to US Weekly, Blake's press release stated that ...'none have promised the madness, excitement, and endless slime as Nick’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which is undoubtedly the ultimate party for kids. There is only one team here, and it’s Team Kids’ Choice!' The show will air on Nickelodeon on March 12.
