I am one of those people who can eat soup all year long. It doesn't have to be cold out for me to enjoy a delicious bowl of veggies and rice floating in a broth or a creamy clam chowder.

I decided I would track down someplace where you can get a good cup or bowl of soup. I was really happy with the list of Hudson Valley restaurants I found. However, the one thing I did realize is most places only have one or two soups on the menu, The popular choices were Clam Chowder, French Onion, or Soup of the day.

Restaurants that have Notible Soup in the Hudson Valley

Even though there weren't many to pick from, I think I found some tasty samples at some very popular Hudson Valley eateries. I did my best to get you pictures of all of the soups I found. The only restaurant that didn't have a picture of their soup on social media was Garvin's in New Paltz.

I substituted a picture of their Potatoe Leek soup with a picture of their Chocolate Guinness cake which is my suggestion to enjoy following the hearty bowl of potatoes and leeks smoothed in a rich creamy broth.

This list includes a good mix of traditional soups plus there are some original recipes like the Spicey Sausage and Pepper soup offered by Ben's Fresh. I also want to lean in on Schatzi's Bier Cheese soup which truly is a meal on its own
