Around this time every year, I start getting my Summer Playlist underway. It's a personal playlist that I'll blast with my windows down while driving around or while I'm sitting at the beach. Usually at the beginning of the season I have a hard time finding songs that get me in the summer mood, but this year is completely different.

I've already got my first five songs picked out and I thought I'd share them with you- in hopes that you would have some suggestions to send my way!

Here are the songs helping me kick off my summer:

Jake Owen- Beachin'
You can't tell me that the second you hear this song you don't want to take your shoes off, grab a drink, and go walking on the beach! It's fun, it's different and it will most definitely be on repeat this summer.

Dierks Bentley- Drunk On a Plane
With summer just around the corner, everyone is gearing up for trips and vacations. And I know a lot of people, just like myself, are nervous fliers. What better way to calm your nerves than a drink or two with Dierks Bentley?  The video is one of the hilarious thanks to the guys at Funny Or Die and I'll probably be watching/listening to this before I jump on  my next flight.

Brad Paisley- River Bank
This is a no-brainer. Brad is so consistently on point when it comes to summer anthems and Riverbank does not disappoint. I find myself hanging out down by the Hudson a lot once the weather gets a bit warmer, so the song is a perfect fit.

Miranda Lamber ft Carrie Underwood- Somethin' Bad
I know, I know. We only just heard this song on Sunday (at the Billboard Music Awards), but you should of already known it was going to be on of my favorites. It's the perfect song for us ladies to blast while we're getting ready to go out and possibly get into somethin' bad.

Lady Antebellum- Bartender
There's always that one, kind of slow, summer song that you keep on your playlist incase of a rainy day or you're slighted by a summer flame. This is most likely going to be that song. Lady A just released this last week, so you'll definitely be hearing more of it, but I loved it from the second I heard it and it made it on my playlist.

Those are my first five picks for my Summer Playlist. What do you thing? Yay or Nay? Have any suggestions for me? Let me know down below!
