Waylon Jennings Saved my Day

Did you ever have one of those days? You need the world to go someplace else, you're frustrated, maybe even overwhelmed. You need a break. This was my day today.

Anytime I have a day like this, I always turn to music. I get out my Iphone, go through my music and invariably I land on the classic country section of my library. Today, Waylon Jennings was exactly what I needed. I have such happy memories of sitting in my uncle's garage, he was a mechanic for the local phone company, on top of a stack of tires or an old tool box, with a cold coke, and Waylon blaring from the radio.

This was one of our favorites.

This is a close second.

I had this one turned up really loud in my car this afternoon.

As I am about to head home for the night, know that I will be playing Waylon Jennings loudly in car. So, if you're sitting at a red light and you hear that great outlaw sound coming from the car beside you, it just might be me, or someone else who knows that Waylon can indeed save your day.
