April is National Rebuilding Together Month

This past week, I had a chance to get caught up with Christina Boryk, the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Dutchess County. Since this month is National Rebuilding Together month it seemed the perfect time to invite her on "In Touch", our public affairs show that airs Sunday mornings at 5:30am.

Once again, I found myself amazed at the work they continue to do. Rebuilding Together Dutchess County brings volunteers and communities together to revitalize homes, assuring that qualified homeowners live independently in a warm, safe and dry environment.  Their goal is to make a sustainable impact on their houses as well as their lives, in partnership with the communities they serve, and to do so without cost to those they are able to help.  RTDC’s mission is completed with the help of everyday citizen volunteers, skilled trades people, the support of local business and major corporate partners.
