You never know who you'll run into in the Hudson Valley.
It looks like Angelina Jolie is working on a new project here in the region. Summer Crockett Moore, Managing Partner at Choice Stages Management in Orange County, shared the news on social media last week.
According to Deadline, Jolie will be starring in a dark-thriller called Sunny. Deadline goes on to explain that the film will follow Jolie's character, a female gangster "who fights to protect her sons — and herself — from an abusive drug kingpin."
The twist in the film comes "when a devastating event occurs" and Jolie's character "has a matter of hours to plot their permanent escape."
Eva Sørhaug is directing as well as writing along side William Day Frank.
There's no release date as of yet, but Sunny will be filming in Dutchess and Orange Counties until late January.
