It's another great Throwback Thursday Workday on the Wolf tomorrow. Every Thursday between 9 AM and 7 PM we play new country hits from the past. We take you back the 90's when Hunter Mountain hosted country music artists like Faith Hill. The Orange Country Fair welcomed Randy Travis. The Ulster Country Fair hosted Joe Diffie. And Martina McBride played the Dutchess County Fair grandstand.

This week we have pulled off the shelf favorites from Garth Brooks, George Strait, David Lee Murphy plus Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and Diamond Rio. Hopefully you have seen all these great country stars in concert. Some have played here in the Hudson Valley when they were first starting out. The Chance, The Mid Hudson Civic Center, The Paramount, The Bardovan, UPAC and countless county fair shows all have hosted country artists for decades.

Here is just three of the artists and the song you will hear tomorrow on the Wolf from 9 Am to 7 PM.

Tim McGraw - Down on the Farm from July of 1994 just missed going number one but is definitely at favorite at Tim's show still in 2020.

Alan Jackson - Chattahoochee from May of 1993 went to number one and won Single and Song of the Year at the CMA's.

Diamond Rio - Meet In The Middle from February 1991 was a debut single for the band who would become the first country band to have their debut single go number one.

Listen to Paty Quyn weekday afternoons from 3PM to 7PM on The Wolf. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or The Wolf mobile app.
