The ACM's are Sunday (April 7th). All week long we are getting excited for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Some winners have already been announced. Most categories are still up for grabs. All week we are going to put the spotlight on nominees with the Wolf 5 O'clock spin-off. Each night after work this week you get to pick a nominee to hear for your ride home.

Tonight it is two songs that are up for "Song of the Year" Cole Swindell with "Break Up in the End" and Dan + Shay with Tequila. The award for Song of the Year is given to the songwriter, the publisher and the artist. The full category also includes "Broken Halos" by Chris Stapleton, Kasey Musgraves with "Space Cowboy", Bebe Rexha "Meant to Be" featuring Florida Georgia Line and "Yours" by Russell Dickerson.

Dan + Shay's Grammy winning "Tequila" makes us all want to visit Colorado. It was released just over a year ago and went number one last July.

Cole Swindell's "Break Up in the End" was actually pitched to Dan + Shay along with Luke Bryan but they all passed leaving it for Cole to release last February. It reach number two on the charts.

Each week night we put two songs up for your vote. One of these songs will be the one you hear on your car radio, smart speaker or smart phone with the Wolf Mobile App as you head out of work and towards after work fun. If you have a song you want us to put up for the spin-off let us know in the comments below.
