Would You Go on a 7-Night Cruise on the Hudson?
When I say "cruise the Hudson River," I'm sure most of us think of the three-hour leaf peeping tours that we can check out from the River Rose in Newburgh or the Rip Van Winkle cruise in Kingston.
But did you know you could enjoy a eight-day, seven-night cruise up and down the Hudson?
American Cruise Line offers overnight cruises that leave from New York City and takes you to some of the most beautiful stops in the Hudson Valley.
Starting in NYC, you'll take the American Cruise Line up to Troy/Albany area, then head to Kingston by day three. Day four you'll see yourself exploring Hyde Park and from there you'll ship out to Catskill. From Catskill you'll descend down to West Point followed by Sleepy Hollow and finally back to New York City at the end of the week.
Along the way, guests will be able to get off the boat and explore the cities they dock in as well as taking in the beautiful foliage.
Would you go on an overnight cruise on the Hudson? Obviously, this is a perfect cruise for those visiting from out of town, but I think as a local Hudson Valley resident it could be eye opening to see our community from the water.
