What Does Your Summer Country Playlist Look Like?
In my personal opinion, country music is best served during the summer time. Whether you're having a bbq, pool party or having your friends over for a bon fire, country music sets the summertime mood.
It also feels like country artist release some of their best songs during the summer months because they know we're craving it.
Below are just a few of my picks for you 2018 Country Summer Playlist.
5. Kane Brown- "Lose It"
Kane is having a stellar 2018 so far. We have a feeling that this summer he's wont be 'losing it' this summer. We're excited to see him at the Dutchess County fair this August and even more excited for his new album due out in November.
4. Morgan Evans- "Day Drunk"
Morgan is seeing some radio air time with his latest single "Kiss Somebody," but "Day Drunk" I think will be the song to get him on the map this summer. It's fun, it's flirty and it's about drinking. What more can you ask for in a summer smash?
3. Dan + Shay "All to Myself"
Is 2018 the summer of Dan + Shay? It just might be. The boys have been pushing heavy promotion for their new self titled album coming out Friday, June 22nd. "Tequlia" set the pace for Dan + Shay this spring, but releases like "All to Myself" are giving us a serious jam for the summer.
2. Chris Lane "Fishin'"
I'm going to be honest with you. When I first heard Chris Lane was releasing a song calling "Fishin" I said to myself " I can't picture this pretty boy fishing at all." However, the song tells a completely different story and is a major bop. I've had "Fishin'" on repeat all week, it's catchy and clever. Chris will also be at the Dutchess County Fair this summer, I'm looking forward to hearing this one live.
1. Little Big Town- "Summer Fever"
Leave it to Little Big Town to bring the heat this summer. "Summer Fever" is funky and fresh and mixes perfectly with songs like "Pontoon," "Day Drinking," and "Boondocks." I can already envision myself dancing around a fire pit on a beach with a corona in my hand. The perfect recipe for a successful summer night.
Honorable mentions:
Florida Georgia Line "Simple"
Carly Pearce "Hide the Wine"
Carlton Anderson "Drop Everything"
Dustin Lynch "Good Girl"
Russell Dickerson "Blue Tacoma"
