The Old School Cleaning Product Everyone Needs

I love a good hack, especially when it comes to cleaning.

For some reason or another, I found myself on Cleaning TikTok the other day. For those of you who have no idea what that means, it means I was getting a bunch of cleaning themed videos pop up on my "For You Page."

Older TikTok users, like myself, use the app for recipes and life hacks (and maybe a few laughs) rather than fancy dances and weird clothing trends.

There were a ton of brightly colored toilet cleaners, mixed with powders, leaving TikTok toilets spotless. I had clean bathroom envy. It's real.

I could literally watch these cleaning videos all day, while dust builds up all around my apartment.

Anyway, I figured I would share my cleaning hack.

I love cooking and baking, but cleaning up after is the absolute worst. Especially when you get that build-up of oil and crispy burnt crumbs at the bottom of your pan. If you're like me and have trouble with those messes, you have to try Bar Keepers Friend.

It wasn't until my late 20's that I realized how important it was to keep Bar Keepers Friend underneath your sink. A little research shows that Bar Keepers Friend has been around since 1882!

Sprinkle a little bit of that on tough to remove grit, through in some elbow grease and your pans will be looking good as new.
