What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley
There's only a few more weekends of summer left and so many fun things to do here in the Hudson Valley. We've highlighted only a few, but there's links to find more.
Saturday, August 27, 5 pm: Fundraiser for Louisiana Animal Shelters, 'A Cause for Paws' at the Town Crier. There will be a concert featuring many Hudson Valley musicians, including John Hall from the group Orleans. A silent auction will also be held. Saturday, August 27, 10-4: Claryville Fire Department Open House, Craft and Vendor Fair. Take a tour of the Fire house, with new and used items for sale, plus hand crafted items as well. Saturday, August 27, 10-3: The 13th Annual Antique Fire Engine Muster & Open House at the Volunteer Firemen's Hall and Museum in Kingston. See antique, vintage, as well as new fire apparatus. Saturday, August 27, 11-4: Crafters' Showcase at the Fullerton Cultural Center on Grand Street in Newburgh. Local artisans will be selling their work, the Fullerton Community Free Book exchange will be open in the Carriage House, plus free tours of the mansion.
