Halloween weekend is upon us and there are plenty of spooky and fun events to be a part of throughout the Hudson Valley. Here's just a few.

Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31: Tours of Haunted Huguenot Street in New Paltz depart hourly from the Dubois Fort Visitor Center, beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday and 7 p.m. on Halloween. This event is back with legends from the National Historic Landmark District. Costumed guides will lead visitors inside various houses and also to the candlelit burial ground dating back to the first settlers in 1678. Tours sell out quickly, preregistration is strongly encouraged. Tickets are $20 for members, seniors, students and military personnel. Tickets for non-members are $25 and $30 at the door.

Saturday, October 31, 11 amHalloween 5K Fun Run and trick-or-treating at Vassar College. Don't miss a day of fall fun, including a Fun Run, Halloween trick-or-treating and other activities. The day kicks off with the costume-optional 5K Fun Run at 11 am. Friday, October 30, 6 & 10: Haunted Theatre Tours. As the spirits become stronger and the un-dead become restless, come see and hear evidence of the spirits that call the Rivoli Theatre home! Join in, if you dare, for a fun, exciting and unpredictable tour of eighteen different areas covering three separate levels of the Rivoli Theatre. Decide for yourself which beings are from our world and “witch” ones are not. You just may meet the resident doctors, a mad scientist, or, quite possibly, an undertaker. (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN 13 AND UNDER).
