New Year's Resolutions. Every year, I make a list, I start with the best of intentions and then somehow I get off track.

One year, I resolved to cook 1 new dish a week from every cookbook I own, (trust me when I tell you I have a lot of cook books). I even blogged about it, but after 4 months my attention strayed.

A few years ago, I resolved to not buy any sewing supplies, other than thread and needles, until I put a dent into my fabric stash. I did pretty good on that one until the Dutchess Heritage Quilt Show came to Dutchess Community College in October and somehow new fabric found it's way into my sewing room. But, hey I made it until October!

Another New Year is upon us and once again I find myself thinking about what I want to change, develop, or learn in the coming year. I need some inspiration, some motivational thoughts to keep me strong, so, of course, I headed straight for Youtube, but I'm not sure any of these are really helpful...

Then I found this. I can't compete with Disney.

Wait, this one might be helpful...

Maybe not, now I'm completely confused. I think in 2015 I will resolve to brush up on my Spanish, eat a little healthier, open my shop on Etsy, continue my daily gratitude tweets, and remember to breathe every now and then. Then again, I've always wanted to learn to play the piano, create a flower garden, take a cooking class at the CIA, and finally understand Excel. 2015 may not be long enough...
