You still have time to catch one of the Hudson Valley's best Independence Day Celebrations. Last night's storms resulted in West Point moving their fireworks and band concert that was originally scheduled for Saturday to tonight at 7:30. There is nothing like seeing fireworks set to the music of the West Point band as you sit at Trophy Point looking north up the Hudson.

The holiday weekend has a lot of us busy and over scheduled. I myself had a conflict which meant I was going to miss one of the Hudson Valley's favorite 4th of July celebrations. So thanks to mother nature we can squeeze in one more awesome display for the 4th of July holiday. Not to mention that the heat finally breaking will make tonight the perfect night for a fireworks show.
