New York Giants Looking Forward to a Successful 2025 Season
After a disasterous 2024 season, the New York Giants are looking to improve on the field and it all started with a semi-successful draft season.
In the 2025 NFL Draft the New York giants selected Edge Rusher Abdul Carter (Penn State), Quarterback Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) and Defensive Tackle Darius Alexander (Toledo), Running Back Cameron Skattebo (Arizona State), OL Marcus Mbow (Purdue), Tight End Thomas Fidone (Nebraska) and Corner Back Korie Black (Oklahoma State).
The Giants also welcomed Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Will these new additions bring their A game to Metlife Stadium for the 2025 season? We'll just have to wait and see.
With that being said, the Giants rookies are also being tested off the field and it's been tough to watch.
Watch New York Giants Rookies Butcher Pronunciation of Poughkeepsie
Every year, as the rookies head into their Rookie Training Camp, the New York Giants social media team puts them to the test.
And it has nothing to do with what's going on on the field.
The social media team asks the rookies to pronounce New Jersey and New York town names and it's absolutely hilarious.
This year is no different. The Giants social media team challenge Jaxson Dart, Thomas Fidone and Abdul Carter take on town names like Greenwich Village, Kosciuszko Bridge, Houston Street and...Poughkeepsie.
They gave it their best shot, and to be fair they didn't do too bad with Poughkeepsie. But lets hope they're skills on the field are better than their pronunciation skills.
