Warrant Wednesday: Ulster County Man Wanted For Criminal Possession of a Weapon

New York State Police Troop F, Highland, are looking for 32-year-old Matthew Spears for criminal possession of a weapon. According to the New York State Police, Spears is a convicted felon and is not allowed to own a firearm. He was arrested for purchasing and possessing a rifle and failed to return to court. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest from the Town of New Paltz Court. In addition, Spears is wanted by Shawangunk Town Police, Crawford Town Police and the Chester Town Police.
