Unfortunately, every week, there is no shortage of individuals who are wanted by the New York State Police for any number of reasons.  Each week, the New York State Police issue the outstanding warrants and they ask us all to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.

New York State Police Troop F, Liberty, are looking for 51-year-old Cornelius Samuel for assault. According to the New York State Police, Samuel was arrested after he was involved in a physical altercation with an ex-girlfriend. Samuel allegedly threw a paving stone at her causing her injury to her hand and leg. He failed to return to court to answer these charges and a warrant for his arrest was issued by the Town of Thompson Court.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this individual should contact the NY State Police ASAP. You should not take any police-action yourself other than to contact the NY State Police at (845) 292-6600 or email Crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
