Warrant Wednesday: Man Wanted in 2 Counties on DWI, Endangering the Welfare of a Child Charges

Here’s this week’s list of outstanding warrants issued by the New York State Police. This information is posted on their Facebook page every Wednesday, and they ask all of us to help spread the word.

Hudson Valley’s Troop K SP Highland is looking for 48-year-old John Gentry. The NY State Police state that he is wanted for aggravated DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree. According to the State Police, Gentry was arrested after a traffic stop for numerous Vehicle and Traffic Law violations, he was found to be in possession of cocaine and driving while intoxicated with a nine year old child in the backseat. Gentry is also wanted by SP Wappingers for DWI.
