Warrant Wednesday: Man Wanted for Kidnapping and Criminal Possession of a Weapon

Here’s this week’s list of outstanding warrants issued by the New York State Police and posted on their Facebook page. They ask all of us to help spread the word.

New York State Police Troop C Sidney is looking for 20-year-old Damian M. Schlabsz. The NY State Police state that he is wanted for kidnapping 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree, related to a crime that occurred in October 2014. According to the New York State Police, Schlabsz would not allow a victim to leave a Norwich barn and threatened to cut them with a knife if they did not do as he ordered, after a grand jury indictment, the Chenango County Court issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Schlabsz. He has not been located.
