Warrant Wednesday: Dutchess County Man on Most Wanted List for Two Years
Here are this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police and they need our help by spreading the word. In the past few months, several arrests have been made on outstanding warrants thanks in part to your efforts in sharing this information on your social media pages.
The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and this week we are highlighting an individual who has been wanted for 2 years. You can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants in the video below.
New York State Police Troop K Poughkeepsie, are looking for 46-year-old John J. Nemec III for grand larceny. According to the New York State Police, Nemec is wanted by both the New York State Police Poughkeepsie barracks and the Town of Beekman Court following a fraud complaint reported to police in May of 2014. According to the New York State Police, Nemec is accused of defrauding several Dutchess County residents out of over $79,000. Nemec is believed to be residing in the Yonkers area.
