A man who was wanted in Chester was arrested on other charges in Newburgh.

The New York State Police in Montgomery arrested 37-year-old Joshua B. Aldrich of Newburgh for first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, aggravated unlicensed operation and a violation for harassment.

The charges come after an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Newburgh, police say.

Aldrich was arraigned in the Town of Newburgh Court and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail.

Aldrich was also arraigned on an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of Chester Justice Court for Vehicle and Traffic Law related offenses. On those offenses, Aldrich was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash $1,000 bond and was ordered to appear in the Town of Chester Court in May.
