This time of year we all get caught up doing our holiday shopping, trying to get everything done, you are constantly running around. It's pretty easy to get caught up and forget that you have to always be aware of your surroundings, especially when your using an ATM at your local bank.

According to the Times Herald Record, the Town of Wallkill Police are looking for a male suspect who is wanted in an attempted robbery at a bank on Monday morning.

It took place at the Citizens Bank branch on Route 211, Monday morning when police said a 51 year old Middletown woman got out of her car to make an ATM deposit. After finished her transaction, she was approached by a man who forced her into her vehicle and demanded money.

Once in the car, the woman told the suspect that she didn't have any money and the man took off on foot up Route 211 East.

Police describe the male suspect as a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a long black coat, red ski mask and a dark cap.
