Ulster County cat lovers take a look.

Every day hundreds of pets are left or found without a family. Our local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or SPCA's, work hard to make sure these animals who are fending for themselves find a good home and live healthy lives.

The Ulster County SPCA is trying their best to find homes and give shelter to a handful of cats, but due to overpopulation they're having some trouble taking in cats and kittens that are being found. With that being said, they are looking for foster homes for bottle fed kittens to cats who are going to give birth/have given birth recently. According to a Facebook post from this weekend the only way the Ulster County SPCA can take in the kittens is to have foster families available.

If you or someone you know is interested in fostering kittens please reach out the Ulster County SPCA at 845-331-5377 ex218. For more information on the Ulster County SPCA check out their Facebook page.
