Ulster County Sheriff’s K-9 Retires
The Ulster County Sheriff's Office reports the retirement of K-9 Triton.
If you listen to the CJ in the Morning Show, you know that both Jess and I love the Ulster County Sheriff's department. I mean Sheriff Paul VanBlarcum is the President of the show.
With that in mind, we are sad to report that due to medical complications the Ulster County Sheriff's office has reported that K-9 Triton has officially retired after serving Ulster County for the past six years.
According the Ulster County Sheriff's Facebook page Triton was born on March 12, 2010 in Shokan, New York and was donated to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office by a local breeder.
Triton has been member of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit since 2011 and was assigned to his handler, Deputy James Mullen and worked street patrol from 2011-2014.
Triton was then moved to the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) and had a part is seizing pounds of drugs worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
We here at the Wolf want to wish Triton all the best in retirement and thanks for all that you did with the Sheriff's Office.
