Ulster County Fire Company Plans Drive Thru Trick or Treat
If you were hoping to get the kids out for Halloween and were worried about where to go there are quite a few events popping up for your trick or treaters to enjoy. We told you earlier this week about the Grab n Go in the Village of New Paltz and now we have found another place the kids can go on Halloween.
The Woodstock Fire Companies shared of their Facebook page yesterday that they have planned a Halloween Candy event on Halloween at 3 of their fire houses. They are inviting people from the Woodstock community to participate in a drive thru Trick or Treat on Halloween from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Everyone is invited to come by in costume for this safe and physically distance event that will be held at 3 different locations. Stop by Woodstock Fire Co. 1 at 242 Tinker Street in Woodstock. You can also visit Woodstock Fire Co 3 at 4123 Route 212 in Lake Hill. The last location is Woodstock Fire Co 4 at 443 Zena Road in Zena. This last sight is specifically for children 12 and under. You are welcome to stop at just one location or stop by all three.
Many communities are hold some type of event for trick or treaters this year. If you aren't sure what may be happening in your community you should contact your town or village hall. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has made it hard for people to open there homes for Trick or Treating.
Some folks may welcome kids they know to stop over but most parents are looking to do something that comes with COVID guidelines. Whatever you do on Halloween please have fun and stay safe. And if you don't have any trick or treaters that just more candy for you.
