Looking to use some of that pent up quarantine energy with the family? A quick trip to Poughquag should be in your future.

Barton Orchards is known for its amazing family-friendly atmosphere, delicious ice cream and apple cider donuts. plus their rows and rows of apple and pumpkin picking options during the fall season in the Hudson Valley. In the past few years, they've been working to make Barton a stop all year round.

We've seen the addition of their taproom and dog park plus awesome events like the Empire State Hot Air Balloon Festival.

They even went ahead and created a high rope, ziplining course called Tree Top Adventures.

What better way to social distance than climbing up into the trees?

Here's some great news, starting July 3rd Tree Top Adventures will be back open and ready for business. In a Facebook post announcing the opening date, Barton Orchards said:

Tree Top Adventure has courses for all skill levels and their only requirement is that all climbers "must weigh between 60-275lbs, and be able to reach a minimum of 72"."

Cider donuts for the kids, adult beverages for mom and dad at the taproom. Ziplining for everyone! It's a post-quarantine day the whole family can enjoy at Barton Orchards located at 63 Appletree Lane in Poughquag.
