Today is Giving Tuesday

It is Giving Tuesday a day for giving back. After a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. After shopping until you drop on Black Friday. And after living on the "net" all day Cyber Monday, it is time to switch tracks. The holiday season is a great time to thinking about people who need our help.

Maybe you can volunteer time, maybe you can donate money or maybe you can do both. That is what Giving Tuesday is all about. It is simple to participate just find someone, something or someplace in your community where you can give back. It can be as simple as making a donation or as involved as volunteering a large block of time. Either way you will be making a difference.

As a matter of fact there is something you could help with here in the Hudson Valley that not only gives to local children's charities in need of funds but it also makes your donated dollar go twice as far.
