This Hudson Valley Town Was Nominated as One of the Best Small Towns to Visit

Some places simply feel like home. I often travel to different villages throughout the Hudson Valley that I have never been to before. It’s interesting to see how different each town is.

Some feel new and exciting while others bring a cozy and warm sense to them. If you have ever been to this town, then you know exactly what I mean.

Orange County is one of the most beautiful counties that I have visited. From hiking and biking trails to dinner on the river and endlessly wineries, it could be featured in a picture-perfect movie scene.

This Orange County town was featured in a Hallmark Channel movie.

Goshen, New York

Goshen was nominated as one of the best small towns to live in. This came as no surprise since it's filled with its own charm and extensive history. There's something for everyone in the family to do there.

LEGOLAND New York Resort

LEGOLAND New York Resort has made its home in Goshen. This is not only a theme park but also a resort. The theme park reopens on April 8, 2022, for the 2022 season. On-site, there are rides and attractions, their very own hotel, dining, shopping, and more. LEGOLAND New York Resort also welcomes a new, LEGO City Water Playground for this summer.

Joe Fix Its

If you're looking for a bike rental or to make a purchase, cruise on over to this locally owned bike shop since the 1940s. They also sell ice skates and equipment, snowshoes, bike helmets, lights, and cycling shoes. With its convenient location right in town, you can't miss it.

Goshen is also known for its horse track and museum.

You may have seen their wooden painted trotters presented throughout the town on residential properties and businesses.

Their race track dates back to the 1800s and when you visit, you also will see the historic sign on site. The track is still in use today.

Harness Racing Museum & Hall Of Fame

Goshen also has a Harness Racing Museum which is a few short steps away from the track. You can tour the museum, learn about the history of this town, join upcoming events and spend time in their gift shop.
