Annnnnnd we're back! CJ and I are back from Nashville and we had an amazing time. We wish you all could have been there to experience everything we did. Who knows, maybe we can do it again...we're crossing our fingers.

While at the Opry we met a bunch of great folks including Opry Dan and April who works in the marketing department. They  had some great stories from Loretta Lynn giving Carrie Underwood a little slap on her butt before her first Opry performance to how the Johnny Cash museum came about. One of my favorite stories actually happened a couple of days before we got to the Opry.

As you know the Grand Ole Opry was celebrating their 90th birthday and had a huge celebration this past Tuesday. Miranda Lambert was one of the scheduled performers and to celebrate she brought along her charity MuttNation Foundation. The foundation was founded and started by Miranda and her mother, Bev, in 2007. Their mission statement reads "MuttNation Foundation is a donation-supported organization with the mission to end animal cruelty, neglect, and homelessness."

Opry Dan and the Opry did their part in helping to save a pup. The Opry now has a new mascot named Charlie!

Adopted from MuttNation, Charlie has made an impression on every one at the Opry. He was there while CJ and I were broadcasting and I was trying my hardest to find him to take a selfie, but sadly he had to leave before I could snap a photo. It's okay though, he took a epic photo with Miranda Tuesday night.

And Kristian Bush of Sugarland:

Charlie, I'm sad I didn't get to meet you. Maybe next time The Wolf takes a trip down to Nashville we can hang out. For more information about the MuttNation Foundation you can get more information at their Website or on their Facebook Page.
