If you were planning on hitting up Bethel Woods this week to see country trio The Chicks hit the stage, there's been a change of plans.

The Chicks, which is made up of Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Strayer, took to social media Tuesday, August 1st to announce that their tour stop at Bethel Woods on Thursday, August 3rd was canceled. The US leg of The Chicks World Tour 2023 kicked off in the US back on July 25th in Kentucky. Then, by their next show on July 27th in Nashville, the country music trio fell ill and started canceling and rescheduling shows.

Unfortunately, it sounds like they're still under the weather and it's effecting their show in the Hudson Valley this week.

On Facebook, The Chicks wrote:

Due to an ongoing illness, we regret that we must reschedule our show at Merriweather Post Pavilion and cancel our show at Bethel Woods Center For the Arts.

They went on to add that they are rescheduling the Merriweather Post Pavilion show, but no other mentions of a future show at Bethel Woods. Fingers crossed that maybe The Chicks will come back in 2024.
