"Over the river and through the woods to Grandfathers house we go." Probably one of the most over sung line from a song that is very popular this time of year. Those are the most well known lyrics to a song most of us have sung a time or two. In case you aren't familiar with the song and it's additional lyrics check out the video below. Believe it or not there are more words than just the first few lines of the song.

I can't even count how many times I have sung the first 4 lines of this song not realizing that there are 12 more lines that complete the tune. And according to Wikipedia the song is actually a poem which was written by Lydia Maria Child in 1844 and in it's original version has 12 stanzas even though only 4 are used in the well known song.

So as you head out this Thanksgiving to dinner at the Grandparents house and the crew from the back seat starts in on a rendition of "Over the River" feel free to distribute the full lyric sheet so that the song can last farther into the trip.
