Police have arrested two teenagers after they allegedly destroyed a bathroom in Ulster County, NY.
The Town of Lloyd Police Department has announced the arrest of two 14-year-old teenagers after allegedly causing over $1,400 worth of damage to a public bathroom at an area pavilion in Highland, NY.
Vandals Destroy Bathroom in Ulster County, NY
A 14-year-old male and a 14-year-old female were arrested on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, after police say they destroyed a bathroom at the new Lewis DiStasi Pavilion in Highland, NY. A recent post on the Town of Lloyd Police Department's Facebook page announced the arrest of the Highland teenagers after an investigation revealed they vandalized a bathroom at a pavilion near the town of Lloyd field.

The teenagers, who were not identified because of their age, allegedly caused over $1,400 worth of damage to the bathroom, according to police.
Teens Arrested Following Bathroom Incident, Highland, NY
Police didn't say what led the teenagers to destroy the bathroom, but did say that the 14-year-old male was arrested and charged with 3rd degree criminal mischief, a felony, and 5th degree conspiracy. The 14-year-old female was also charged with 5th-degree conspiracy.
Both of the teenagers were released to their parents and given an Ulster County Family Court Appearance ticket. They are both expected to appear at Ulster County Probation on February 19th, 2026.
The pavilion located at the town field in Lloyd, NY, was named in honor of the late Lewis C. DiStasi Jr. back in December 2024. DiStasi Jr. was the town’s attorney for more than 40 years.
