A teenage boy arrived at an Orange County hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Just after 1:00 a.m. on Friday, an 18-year-old male from the City of Newburgh presented himself at St. Lukes Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Police are not releasing his name at this time.

Police say the victim suffered one wound to each thigh and a wound to a finger. Officials don’t consider any of the injuries to be life threatening.

The victim reported to police he had been shot in the area of 126 Broadway in the City of Newburgh a short time before arriving at the hospital. A suspect has yet to be identified.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call City of Newburgh Police at 845-561-3131.

This marks the 4th reporting shooting in the City of Newburgh in recent days. This past weekend a 23-year-old was arrested following a shooting near the library. Last week a City of Newburgh teenager was arrested following a shooting and robbery. A 51-year-old Newburgh man was fatally shot 15 days ago.
